Milagro Saints

Milagro Saints

Milagro Saints. based in Raleigh NC are a genre-defying, eclectic Americana/Blues and Folk-Rock/Pop band of unstoppable multi-instrumentalists. Featuring trombone, fiddle, accordion, blues harp, mandolin, on top of a bedrock of bass, drums and electric guitars, playing original songs by lead singer/guitarist (and Englishman) SD Ineson.

The Milagro Saints’ sound is inspired by late 60’s and early seventies music which gave birth to the current Americana movement. The Woodstock-era essence of The Band, Dylan, Van Morrison and Neil Young, evolving into bands, like Wilco, Calexico, Hiss Golden Messenger and Deep Dark Woods and Ryan Adams’ Whiskeytown.

Essentially the Saints’ music is based on a foundation of well crafted song-writing that honors the roots and authenticity of albums like ‘Harvest’ ’Music From The Big Pink’ and “American Beauty’

MILAGRO SAINTS have just finished a NEW ALBUM “SIGNS ON THE ROAD” for March 2018 release on Moon Caravan Records and will be heading out to play local and national dates to support the album.

A Career highlight of the band has been their connection with The Woody Guthrie Festival having been invited to play there in Okemah OK alongside major artists

Arlo Guthrie and John Fullbright and releasing an EP of Roots-Rock versions of

Guthrie tunes “Mighty Road Songs” which charted in the AMA Americana top 50, gaining national and european radio play.

The Saints have opened for the reformed 10,000 Maniacs at the Jack Kerouac festival

in his hometown of Lowell Mass and for….. ar Red Hat stadium in Raleigh. SD Ineson has also written songs with former Bonnie Raitt and Muscle Shoals session guitarist Will McFarland.
